10 Concept Mashups That May End Up As SCPs In The Future
What is Remix Culture? From what I understood, Remix Culture is a term that describes a society or community that takes existing works and uses them as derivatives for a new work. For example, the mash-up video that was shown to us during the lecture portion of class is considered to be an art piece that is part of Remix Culture since it sampled parts of old songs as well as pre-recorded music phrases that are easily available online. Through the entirely new composition alone an entirely unique song with a different message was created!
I honestly like to think about Remix Culture like clothes. You can take the same clothes you have in your closet and mash them up in different ways to create new outfits. You can even cut up some clothes and sew them together and etc. to create more new things to wear!
Lack of Education
As the name suggests, I created this mash-up with the problem of lack of educational systems in mind. The area where the brain is supposed to be is muddled with trash, signifying the lack of information that is retained in the mind of individuals who do not receive much education. The books, plainly, signify the educational portion of the mash-up, and, I use the skull rather than human head because I wanted to emphasize that people can perish from the lack of education.

This Is Our World Now
This concept was developed when I was watching A-Files (Alien Files). I had a thought, what if the roles of the cow and alien switched?

Earth's Subjects
This concept was brought to life while I was thinking about cute things. I was reminiscing about the Barbie movies (how there's almost always a fairy or something of a similar fashion) and I decided to create something that related to that subject. At the same time though, I was thinking about the greenery of the Earth and how pleasant this planet truly is. My mind wandered a bit and I thought of the title Earth's Subjects.

This concept is pretty self-explanatory. Those who don't get the vaccine don't know how to truly think :) They deserve a trophy for how unbelievable they are acting :) I'm sure some of them are nice people though :) I don't know hahaha ;-;

Hunger Eats
This concepts speaks about how when you're hungry, the hunger itself begins to eat you alive. So to portray that, I made food, one of the sources of probable hunger, look like it's eating someone. Gruesome, I know haha.

To Wage A War
This concept, like the title suggests, discusses war. It shows different perspectives of war. One is of the people in battle. They are in their tents, surrounding the campfire. Then there's the enemy team coming up with shields and infantry! Then there's the true villain at the back of everything. The battlefield is stained red due to the battles and blood shed. I thought of this during a D&D campaign hahaha. I was the villain-boss guy :)
